Huw Williams is a freelance writer, editor and proofreader who combines a passion for the written word with an intolerance for poor grammar and sloppy formatting. He is one of those people who edits their text messages before sending and winces whenever they see a misused apostrophe. He has a strong analytical background, having spent eight years as an auditor, picking needles from haystacks for a number of large organisations.

Huw is originally from Merthyr Tydfil in South Wales, but now lives in Sydney, Australia with his wife and two young children. He has a bachelor degree in history and has spent most of his career working with large amounts of information, so has a keen eye for detail. His work has been published within Australia and he has edited documents ranging from corporate reports and university theses to short fiction and newsletters. He holds a Professional Certificate in Editing and Publishing and is an associate member of The Society of Editors (NSW Inc).
